Site's live

That first post isn't an easy act to follow, but I'll give it a go.

Hi, I'm Will the uhh fellow who put together the books and content on the site. I hate to use the term "author" because it implies competance, experience, and professionalism. Kinda like "doctor." There are tons of people with various doctoral degrees who have earned the honorific, but the practical use of that title is limited to formal settings (awards ceremonies and whenever the alumni associations come around begging for money) unless you're practicing medicine. Even so, the MD's I know don't walk up to the deli counter and say the pickup is for Doctor Bowman. It's for Pat.

Hobbyist is probably the best description here, especially if I want to disclose that I'm the worst salesman in the history of book sales. Objectively, it's not necessarily a negative. It's a stage that all creatives go through at one time or another. In fact, it is likely the best stage because it is driven by pre-monetized passion. You get the best of what they have to offer without all the branding and social dressing making it look prettier than it really might be.

Is Realms' Anchor worth dropping $20 (plus freaking shipping unless you spend over $25) on a signed copy that will occupy precious storage space in your humble abode? Hell no. The people who want signed copies also want me to sign them in blood. (ink only, friends) But for the rest of you fine folk, there are the Epubs (kindle). Weightless text to your phone, tablet, or goggles to enjoy or delete at your discretion.

So what else is planned for this site? Aside from a blog I want to believe I will update regularly, I am hoping to post some of the RA background stories. There's a lot going on in that universe and the books can only show you so much. For now, the site is lean and sparse. If you have suggestions, feel free.
